Jay Weinfuss was hired as our Southwest Regional Manager in June 2007 as part of the expansion of EcoTimber’s national sales force. Jay has heeded the advice, “Go west young man,” as his career path has taken him from the Big Apple to the Upper Midwest to the deserts of the Southwest.

He began his floor covering sales career in the early 1990s in Minnesota, where he became the top producer for two hard surface flooring distributors.

"When I first saw EcoTimber, i was impressed by the integrity of the corporate structure along with the quality of the products. EcoTimber's belief in promoting public awareness of deforestation and illegally logging from worldwide forests intrigued me," encouraging him to join our team.

Jay is an avid reader, especially of non-fiction books, current events, the sports pages and the "greening" of corporate America. He is kept busy keeping up with his family: wife Karen, son Josh (a sports writer), and daughter Lauren, a college student.
